A little break and a pair of stories

Taking a brief break from Brown Bear Coffee House to fulfill a request from a friend and reader to post a pair of short stories I wrote some years ago as an experiment. Top Bear and Bottom Bear can be read in either order, but should be read together, since the represent two sides of the same relationship.  I wanted to try writing a story that had the central character do all the narrating first person, as if they were talking to an interviewer.  Hope you enjoy them!
